The Big Short is a great pick though.

Given the somewhat dry subject matter, it's a hugely entertaining movie. And just when you have some faith in humanity, it knocks you back to the real world.

Nah, Terminator - Dark Fate

The Big Short is a great pick though.

Given the somewhat dry subject matter, it's a hugely entertaining movie. And just when you have some faith in humanity, it knocks you back to the real world.

Thematically both Joker and The Big Short have something in common, both movies were written off by many before release because the directors were only known for comedies.
