in Canada i remember seeing the kick drum skin thing go for 1200 and that was in 2017 unless i saw that in 2012 ? prob 2017. a signed doodle in 2012 was going for 450 here, i do remember that cause it was staring at me when i got my signed poster for 130. thats dirt cheap compared to a decade later! even 450 for the doodle i saw was pretty cool and now i kinda think i might of sprung for that but a regular signed one and ONE is good enough for me.

I would love to get this album on vinyl, but my passion for material stuff like this is fading.

Personally I don't care much for the box and all that stuff - which I usually look at once a year if any.
So my hopes are they'll produce some kind of standard version for a reasonable price.

...and before getting any excited at all, let's wait for some vinyl reviews.

The mastering on FI is really impressive so im assuming this is going to be great. i heard on FB someone saying how great it was actually, so HB is on the right track (other then being a tool sympathizer and just being a tool haha

I still collect stuff although ive slown down, i dont know why entirely cause same with me! i looked at the 2 variants i got of FI like once or twice and its been sitting in a box ever since! :S Didnt they say this is coming out in April ? how much do you think that will be ? im figuring around 200 here but i dont collect vinyl but between 150 and 2 bills im guessing being its a 5 disc LP. pretty crazy with those long songs eh!

One interesting consideration though is that since this is the "Ultra Deluxe LP", will there be a standard release as well (ie something more sensible than 5 discs). I kinda figure the "ultra deluxe" is just marketing hype, and while I'll certainly be planning to get a copy, I'd be pretty cool with a more "standard" edition for day to day listening.

good point! albums are 20 minutes a side, right ? they could work it out to fit right. Even if some songs are out of place but they did that with Lateralus, so no probs with that really. Always the special releases first these days.

With some order changes, and possibly ditching a segue or two it's very doable over 2 discs
