Slight variations in the setlist throughout the tour, maybe a song or two. I don't recall the band doing that very often.

Re: TOOL Fall 2023 tour
Greetings from (sub-zero) St Paul. Fark it's cold. Probably didn't need to pack ze jandals.
Last night was cool. Predictable setlist, bells and whistles - nothing unusual or unique that springs to mind. I was expecting a bit more of a costume effort, but whatever. A few new visuals that were neat. They've ditched the curtain, or at least didn't have it last night. I thought the FI/Opiate/Pushit trifecta last tour was a much better combo to start the concert. Jambi + The Pot feels a bit stale, but probably the opposite for first-time attendees. Small niggles. I'm thankful to have attended.
Not sure where this opinion falls on the popularity scale, but far out the merch is horrible these days. Huge fugly Alex Grey screen prints on the back of tshirts and hoodies.... what became of subtlety? Zing! (sorry)

This is pretty decent quality. I'll be watching this entire show once I get off work tonight.
Thanks for posting this!

Surprised this hasn’t been posted yet. Or I missed it? Amazing performance with Alex in Toronto.

There sound is crispier now.. more detailed but not as bassy...up the bass! just a touch!! Its too mid endy! I
That was 2 special days though. Good times with good people and everything. Even got offered mdma by the people sitting beside me. weeds helping me these days so i passed..never have done mdma before, so mah.

Howard as in the lighting genius from Rush?
I thought I saw some Rush Equipment near the tool soundboard recently
Re: TOOL Fall 2023 tour
Howard co-owns the laser company (pdifx) that Tool uses. The case at FOH is one of theirs.GabesCaves wrote: ↑Sun Dec 10, 2023 8:37 ambob wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 2:57 pm Didnt think i'd make either shows but end up seeing both nights in toronto. a nice usher let me on the floor so i could say hi to Junior. Well Pearl Jam is supposed to be there late 2024, if that is any consolation. Not exactly Tool.
Plus you get to watch all the footy live and in person that you want! Go Cats!

I feel like I've seen PJ enough times in my life, so suspect I'd give them a miss in 2024. Go Crows though!GabesCaves wrote: ↑Sun Dec 17, 2023 6:58 am Well Pearl Jam is supposed to be there late 2024, if that is any consolation. Not exactly Tool.

Sorry I'm late, been lapping around Aus last 12 months. Turns out she's a pretty bloody big continent! Hope everyone's well and yep agreed with Hboy, time for Tool to sort their shit and get back down here.
