Saw the cover to '21 & over" & thought it might be a laugh.. It wasn't. Seriously Avoid this shit at all costs. Turned it off after half hour.

Re: The Movie Thread
How do you know it isn't a laugh if you haven't seen it all the way through?
There could be a twist at the end that reveals that the movie really was a laugh. That would make you look pretty stupid.

You're right, the movie was rife with intelligence & no doubt the climax would've made the movie a masterpiece.. I feel stupid..

Re: The Movie Thread
"SPRING BREAKERS" was an excellent, excellent movie. Very clever.
I didn't realise it was by the same dude who did "KIDS". That should legitimise the movie a bit more, should you be on the fence about seeing it.

Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I want that ship, not excuses.

Well I just watched the undeniable MOTY
Upstream Color, by the same guy that did Primer, he wrote, directed, scored and produced this film and it was fucking amazing.
Go in blind and watch it unravel before your eyes, this film doesn't hold your hand in any way.
God damn.

It's already out? Thanks for the tip-off dude. I've been waiting for this since it was announced that it was happening. Not Tyson wrote:Well I just watched the undeniable MOTY

EDIT: And don't worry, I know absolutely nothing about this movie. I'm a pro when it comes to going in blind. All I know is that it's about a man and a woman. That's literally it.

Re: The Movie Thread
Well for someone so eager to see it, it's been out for months.

Re: The Movie Thread
1. It's a movie, which I heard about a while ago and have been excited about ever since. Not Tyson wrote:Korea doesn't have access to the internet?
2. I visit a total number of five websites, on average, every day.
3. I work and study.
4. In order to keep myself in the dark about effects, plot, etc, I saw it fit to not follow the build-up to its release.
5. There was no way this movie was ever going to be released in Korean cinemas, so I didn't pay attention to theatrical release dates.
6. You're a dickhole.
7. There are a great number of things I am excited about; but due to my current living location and the fact that I'm an adult with shit to do, I'm unable to keep tabs on all of them.
8. I tend to rely on this online community to let me know when things I'm interested in are made available. In which case, it has worked perfectly.

I bought this about a month ago.
If you get a chance - and if you haven't done so already - go and see Festen, which is that director's last film.
