Been working so far. "GRAVITY" rocked my world this year, as did "UPSTREAM COLOR".
my friend is like that, he gets mad at me when I send him trailers. but if you read the book it's not really going to spoil much
This is true. Were-bear is getting me so fucking hard. He better rock crotches.
being you haven't seen the trailers I can tell you that they are doing a majorly excellent job of not showing Beorn at all. just a glimpse. and it's the same glimpse over and over. I can't WAIT for the Battle Of The Five Armies.

I watched the first installment again on the train last month, and I was completely sucked in. Usually this train ride is a mind-numbing 6.5 hours, but for half of it, I was blissin' out.

It might be possible for this trilogy to be better than "LOTR". I prefer the book of "THE HOBBIT" to "LOTR" anyway, so that's a good start.
O love will you read the letters I will send to you.

I just watched Timecrimes which is, believe it or not, NOT related at all to Timecop. At least I don't think it is. Anyway it was pretty good, though the English dubbing was pretty bad. If you have the choice definitely go for the subtitles. Or you could wait until the American remake which is already happening.

I bought the Good, Bad, and The Ugly DVD years ago but for some reason never got around to watch it. I finished it yesterday after watching it in half-hour intervals for the past three weeks.

Overall, a good film with lots to appreciate but way too long. I have always thought three hours is too long for any film and I still feel that way. This film would have benefited greatly from cutting out 35 minutes.

that's incredible that you posted this because I did the exact same fucking thing with "The Wild Bunch" this year. I bought it from a failing establishment that was selling DVD's for like 5 bucks. I didn't realize movies back then were that violent. there were so many bullets flying in that movie it was great. took me about 4 days but I finished it. great old school western. peep this factoid from IMDB:

"Supposedly, more blank rounds were discharged during the production than live rounds were fired during the Mexican Revolution of 1916 around which the film is loosely based. In total 90,000 rounds were fired, all blanks."

If Hollywood wants to be schooled on how to make a great movie it should take a hard long look at Korean films. Oh forgot! They already are. Oldboy remake. Fuckers!

Best movie I have seen in a long long time...

SO I just watched my movie of the year, The Institute

If you're a lover of art, modern art, or even what art can be in this modern world, just watch.

Yeah it sounds pretentious but just watch, there are so many fucking twists and turns in this doco.

Art really does save lives.

Here, a fucking link for you cheap fucks.

The scope behind this is amazing. I wish I had something like this near me.

Saw The Habit 2: The Deification of Smegma today. 'Twas pretty good. Didn't much care for the ending though.

Dude, that is in my backyard, and this was the first I'd heard about it. That was a killer documentary / concept. Well worth a watch, and thanks for the link.
