How the fuck is that even possible? If you were born in the 70s or 80s, like "hard" music - how could anyone dislike HELMET?

Few things offend me, because I don't believe in the word; but to dislike HELMET is deplorable.

It's Helmet. So no real surprises as to what's on offer here. It's very.......1992.

All I remember of it at the time is that it gave birth to a new generation of "intelligent" metal heads who seemingly popped out of nowhere. A veritable clone army in their khaki pants, converse sneakers, baseball caps and crew cut hairstyles. Oh and they all seemed to be mad on basketball and snowboarding.

Needless to say I was not one of them.

And the music you ask? About as bland as a Saturday afternoon at Ikea.

no, I'm not, sadly ... the last two times I've seen them and he told the crowd to pick a song, both have been mentioned and his response was that they didn't have the right guitars with them (presuming he just meant instruments that were tuned for those tracks) ... no complaints otherwise, they sounded great

I swear by MARTINA TOPLEY-BIRD. I go nuts over everything that she does. Tends to be just her (obviously), but the music is fairly rich and with texJUST SAW A SPIDER FUCK.

With texture. Really great stuff. Start with her first "Quixotic" (might be called something different in your region) and go from there.
