I ended up getting a pair of tix, non split, in the upper tiers. I kept getting sold out messages but would try 5-10x every 5-10 minutes. Tried to get better tix, but was only offered another pair in the same general area. SO the tix are (or were) out there as of 1030am.

Ticketmaster was absolutely brutal this morning.

Managed to eventually get some pretty sweet tickets, but still. Holy fuck.

Just Vegas and San Diego. Got friends from Canada and Utah that are going to the Vegas show. So I bought a VIP ticket because of the experience and also because I didn't want to have to worry about getting tickets on ticketmaster and axs for the two shows. Also my Canadian friends are going VIP at the Vegas show so I can hang with them during the pre show shit. My wife cant make it to the Vegas show so I thought $500 would be worth it for just once. If my Canadian friends didn't get VIP I would have just had my Utah friend buy my Vegas ticket while I got my San Diego ticket. In the start of this week I was not going to any Tool shows but they added two close shows to me and now I get to see them twice and on my birthday.

Yes it was. It's (Cedar Park anyway not sure what arena you were going after) a small arena you'd think Ticketmaster could handle it a bit better. Like your sig, by the way. Nice to see a fellow Beavis and Butthead fan.

For what it's worth, I'm coming up with tickets for Houston again. They must have released a bit more including a pair of floor seats i just declined. 2:57 CST on Friday 2/14/14

Yea the Houston show still has plenty of seats it seems. Just did a search for shits and giggles and it gave me 4 for section 124 so it shouldn't be a problem for those who wanna go there.

They all vanished for a while. From about 11:00 on I kept pulling none available. I was checking just to see if I could improve my situation so I was checking every 15 minutes. I was able to upgrade just before I posted at 2:57

The past shows that I've been to seem to have sold out in minutes. That includes the New Orleans Arena (which is very similar in size to Toyota/Houston). That said, this is very short notice, and no where near a new album.

This will be my first Tool show I will ever be able to attend. It worked out because I am in Arizona for the Society of Toxicology Conference, basically all I had to do is buy a ticket. Going VIP, gonna be great. The conference center, my hotel, and the venue are all in walking distance of each other too.

Yes I did. But it did take about 30 mins after I bought them to get it.

Because he wasn't in the photo seems the obvious answer. He could have been there I suppose, but I don't think he's especially camera shy, so I'd assume he'd either be in the photo, or not there.
