Re: Only One Tool Song
I'd like to plug headphones in to the sound board (with the proper mix), and have the headphones clasp my ears, while they play D/R/T.
Also, at around the 4:14-4:17 mark in "Disposition", what did Danny utilize to ensure that the drumstick would counterbalance the effect of the upcoming break in to "Reflection"?

Eulogy all the way. The Patient is my runner up.xZ1mM3r wrote:Maybe this has been discussed in a different manner, but fuck it....
If you could go see Tool live and they were to ONLY play ONE song of your choice, then leave the stage. What song would you want to hear live??
and please no trolling... if you think its a dumb topic then please just dont post.
My song choice would have to be.... Eulogy

As soon as I saw the thread title I thought I was going to choose Third Eye. But actually it'd be Lateralus.

Re: Only One Tool Song
Hard to choose.
Probably the slow version of Pushit. I got it once in a 2001 show but was too young/high to appreciate it.
I've never gotten Eulogy though, so maybe that one rather. Third Eye used to be an easy answer to this but seeing plenty of clips of it played recently has made me desire it a bit less. Don't think they play it live anymore quite as great as the epic Saliva recording.
Got H in '02, Got all the Lateralus/10k tunes. I'd love to hear Swamp Song or Intolerance someday too. That extended version of Jerk-Off they did on the Kalamazoo' 98 recording would also be fucking sick to hear live.

I'd pay one dollar at a time to hear this played. But seriously, this song would go swimmingly after they play Thomas. Did I mention TPT is the best band evar?Ravenpig wrote:Magdalena
