Yeah, no doubt. With all the injuries and bowing out, this is a far cry from our cream of the crop. Still an amazing amount of talent.

Puerto Rico was our biggest challenge to date (first half) but they got their asses handed to them in the 2nd half. Spain will be a serious challenger - fucking tough individual match ups with this roster. There's no guarantee.

Did anybody read that Punisher storyline where he escaped from jail and got surgery that made him black, and then teamed up with Luke Cage?

It was pretty weird.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand. When I was younger I would always get weird comics that were always in the middle of some arc. In addition to the black Punisher comic I also had a Superman one where the destruction of Krypton had finally reached the point where it was visible from Earth, and when Superman saw it he lost control of his heat vision. So the whole comic was just him flying around blasting shit with his heat vision.

I also had a Spider-Man one where Mysterio tricked Spider-Man into thinking he was an actor in a movie. That one was pretty weird, although it did have a sweet splash page showing the aftermath of some big battle and there are just defeated Marvel strewn all over the place. I think there was also a quick little comic book in the back where Spider-Man hung out with Jay Leno and they like fought ninjas or some shit.

It was pretty weird.

This arena looks pretty cool. It also looks like a giant toilet.

The Warriors haven’t won an NBA championship since 1975, so maybe the designers are just expressing how they feel about the hometown team. Or maybe they’re starting the latest trend of toilet-shaped stadiums, and everyone else just needs to catch up. Either way, the fact that no one seemed to recognize this is pretty hilarious. The arena is still in the planning stages, though, so it’s possible these lovely sketches could get flushed away.

Preseason is in full swing. I am very optimistic about the upcoming season and the Warriors revamped bench. Not to mention Kerr/Gentry/Adams - the coaching staff seems to be firing well, granted it's just two preseason games in...

It was so satisfying to drop the Clips and then spank the Lakers.

RP, is it too early to start making some predictions?

The popular opinion appears to be Cavs/Bulls ECF with Cavs taking it. I share that opinion.

The West is way more up in the air... I think the Spurs will always be in the mix as likely to take the WCF, but it's a long season and many teams in the West have tweaked their rosters/coaching staff.

Health will always be a massive factor, and my Warriors have some humongous "ifs" with too many of our key players.

Nah it's not early. NBA is the complete opposite of the NFL, it's ok to pick contenders before the season starts.

I myself have none. The Spurs will be great as almost always but beyond a sure quarter finals sppearance, I got nothing.
