2 of B.B. King's daughters claim he was poisoned.
At first glance, I thought this was just another one of those crazy accusations that come about after a celebrity dies, but there are some details here that give some these accusations a bit more weight and make them hard to dismiss outright.

KoRn's Jonathan Davis is doing a project with the country group Big & Rich, who are probably best known for their song "Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy)".

Re: Random Music News
For anyone interested, L7 are broadcasting their first reunion show on the web in about 20 minutes time. Who knows how good or bad this will be:
http://tunein.com/radio/Spaceland-Radio-s245057/
As a bit of background, I was a fan from an early age. In fact the first live show I saw was L7 + the Cosmic Psycho's back when I was 16. Definitely an eye opening event for me at the time, and led to a life of listening to shitty music.
Their last albums were pretty shit though, so lets hope not much is played from them...
Update: Pleasantly surprised so far, though the mix is pretty shit. Hope they come to Oz.

Just watched it, but couldn't spot them. Great episode though. I know plenty of people who are so into the books that they can't take the plot deviations, so aren't watching the HBO series. They are missing out.lo7us wrote:

Re: Random Music News
Interesting read. My list would be:UndKeineZwEier wrote:Les Claypool ranks all the Primus albums.
1. Frizzle Fry
2. Sailing the Seas of Cheese
3. Pork Soda
4. Brown Album
5. Tales from the Punchbowl
6. Antipop
7. Green Naugahyde
Frizzle and Cheese could easily be swapped at a whim. Same goes for Brown and Punchbowl. Naugahyde is clearly their worst album.

2. An Epson X80 printer that was last used in 1996 and only now only prints in light blue
3. A Merle Haggard Greatest Hits LP that somebody accidentally spilled coffee all over
4. A roll of carpet that's been stored outside behind a shed since the early 90's

^^ someone revoke his speaking privileges.
I actually enjoyed Green Naugahyde. Some great live songs on that album, I would probably have the same list as Les.

I really dug the GN tour. And that was a very interesting article/interview. I did live through the 90's with Primus and it was excellent news when they put out GN and it didn't suck (well, of course, it DID suck... because it's Primus).
I didn't really get the rift between Les, Ler and Herb... never heard any details on this. Guess time healed the wounds.

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.
