There are some YouTube vids out there (watched a couple) but I assume that Ettan would have provided links if he wanted everyone to see them. Â He's the rhythm guitarist.

Actually not, since I wrote left instead of right you're right, but I'm the guy with glasses on the picture. I play the drums. Sorry for the confusion.. I prefer recordings over video recordings on youtube, that's why I haven't linked anything.Â

Well done Ettan, sounds like you'll be having a banging time!Â

I play bass for a band called Peyote. Went & splurged all my cash on a decent rig about 2 years ago:

- Warwick 4 string bubinga Pro Series (same bass that is my avatar)

- Peavey 8x10 Cab

- Ampeg Svt Pro 3 Head

- 4 String Ibanez acoustic

Will try get some pics up later of the rig.

Here's a link to download our EP if ya feel so inclined & a youtube clip of one of the songs from it + a link to our facey page if ya feel like flicking us a like. To be honest I'm not a big fan of half of the songs on the EP & the production isn't great, but gives ya an idea of our sound. Looking forward to recording our next EP coz last few songs we've written are a lot more polished & I guess we've matured as songwriters.. Cheers.

Personally I think Times Up and Stain are both better than Vivid. Â Times Up is a more varied album similar to Vivid, but with better songs (imo). Â Stain is an angrier and heavier album and the first one with Doug on bass.

That said, where Living Colour really shine is live, so I'd suggest acquiring a copy of The Paris Concert CD or DVD. Â That'll give you a really good overview of their body of work, as well as a good taste of their musicianship.

Just put some fresh strings on my Ibanez. I picked it up back in March and absolutely adore it. Well, except for the strap button on the back, can't say I'm a huge fan of that, but it's not the worst thing in the world either.

Hey everyone! New poster on this board!
I play guitar, do some singing and since about a year back I've started to learn more about production/recording.
I also want to share some music from my band that I think some people here might like!

I've had a long love for the music of Tool and APC, and I think some of that comes through in these songs.
I've been influenced by different genres so it's not THAT similar but hopefully you guys will dig the feeling of it. Give it a listen:)

Hello everybody,

Fourtheye has been my favourite Tool news source for years, especially the forum. Because I love sarcasm, and it is much needed in this time of blankets and absurd rereleases.
Anyway, I just registered - for a good reason: Shameless self-promotion.
We (of the band PHI) are going to release our first live-album and DVD - and i honestly think that you guys might like our music. We just released a first clip from the DVD on youtube, which happens to be one of our few songs that have a strong Tool-vibe (D-Minor, Dropped D Tuning,...), otherwise we mostly got our own sound going, fusing elements of old and new progrock/metal.

I just started a musical project called A Great Mountain Had Carcosa. It's ambient/atmospheric metal sans percussion and vocals. I wrote, performed, and recorded the song "I Could Hear The Silence" myself (see the SoundCloud link below). I have others, but haven't gotten around to recording them yet.
