Combat is certainly harder, though some of the starter weapons seem pretty underpowered. Now that I have a decent gun I seem to be able to hold my own against at least entry level cannon fodder pretty easily.
The shooting certainly is better, and better than my initial assessment I reckon. I'm having a good time with the crafting and settlement stuff as well, both of which are right up my alley.
As to the "core" of the game, so far it's pretty much standard Fallout fare, which works just fine for me.

Where would you rank it in the series order so far?

I'm going to disregard 1 & 2 as they are really quite different games. As it stands I'd say NV is still the best, with F4 close behind, and F3 being the "worst" (I still really enjoyed that though).UndKeineZwEier wrote:Where would you rank it in the series order so far?

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

That's the reason why I never take a companion with me in a Bethesda game.

Sounds like a good reason to get back into Fallout 4:
