All Them Witches
Had a mate send me this earlier today saying it was right up my alley and he was spot on. Figured they would have had to of been known on here. Looks like they made a few albums of the year votes last year and had a plug in 2014 from a few too.
After listening to the link above, I'm now going through their discography , onto their 2nd album and have to say they are fan fucking tastic. None of that grindcore bullshit going on here, just good solid sludgy bluesy tunes just the way I like it. Check em out if ya haven't listened to them before.

Can't believe I'd never heard them before. Figured they'd be great live. What a killer combo, these lads and primus. Not jealous at all

I've added it to my playlist, but a few more blastbeats wouldn't go astray

Haha I take that more as a knock against me and my grindcore dis than against the music itself.

Love ATW. Great band that is surprisingly still under the radar. Their new album was a slow burner that took a few listens for me to get into it, but now I love it.

Our old buddy Bobbage just turned me onto them this week coincidentally. I’m working my way through the discog now. Very solid.

I'm onto their latest album now. Have just gone through the discography last 2 days. Entire catalogue is mint.
And Lachie that's awesome! Doesn't look like they've ever been to Aus from what i can tell hopefully they come down this way sometime soon

Saw them live about 3 years ago on some free ticket giveaway thing. Didn't know much about them at the time but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Haha figured you'd dig them mate. You end up digging any deeper on that Aussie band Cog? Not in the realm of stoner by any means but worth a listen if you get a chance. Bit like Tool in that you either question what the fuss is about or they grab you by the balls immensely.

A rock band hasn't grabbed me like they have since Tool so comparison makes sense to me.

I mainly meant I thought Saturine & Iron Jaw sounds more TOOL-esque. I do agree though, they got their sonic hooks in my brain!Busty McCracken wrote: ↑Fri Jun 26, 2020 9:25 pm A rock band hasn't grabbed me like they have since Tool so comparison makes sense to me.

Yeah the intro has that segue start to it , groovy as all hell that riff once it kicks in. Really wanna see this band live.Whowatchesthewampas wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 5:52 pmI mainly meant I thought Saturine & Iron Jaw sounds more TOOL-esque. Re: All Them Witches
Same. They seem to not have the following that they’d play huge venues, probably more intimate settings which would be awesome!Busty McCracken wrote: ↑Sat Jun 27, 2020 9:42 pmYeah the intro has that segue start to it , groovy as all hell that riff once it kicks in. yeah there's heaps of pro shot quality live shows on youtube and none of them are at big venues. It's either festivals or small club shows.
