Adam + The Melvins + Jello, Butcher

Toolband/Army reports that Adam may play at the upcoming Altamont/Melvins/Biafra at the Henry Ford Theatre, presuming he can find time in between making videos, album artwork, stuffing 3-horned sheep, etc. They also report that Butcher will be playing at Zen Sushi on December 6th.

Schism DVD, Live DVD and the Jelvins!

Finally, some sort of news! Blair has said today that a DVD with the Schism and Parabol/Parabola videos will be available sometime before the end of the year, and that December 20 seemed to be a good date for this. He did confirm that this isn’t the Live DVD, which will be released at a later date. Blair has promised that as well as the videos, the Schism DVD will… Read More »Schism DVD, Live DVD and the Jelvins!

Chat Transcripts

The TA chat transcripts seem to be up. In case you don’t feel like wallowing through them, I’ve assembled a bit of a list of highlights. Halloween Newsletter

It’s up now. It doesn’t contain much new Tool information to the untrained eye (ie. mine). It does dispell a few myths regarding the recent TA Chat. For those of you who complain that Blair’s newsletters never contain any useful information, then you won’t be swayed by this latest one at all. Personally I like them, so Blair, just in case you’re reading, keep up the good work. And Danny,… Read More »Halloween Newsletter

Archive’s Fixed, Tool’s Dunny

For those of you interested in trawling through Fourth Eye’s archives, they’ve now been fixed! Also, Shinji from the French Tool website has provided us with a picture, allegedly of Tool’s toilet, as taken by Joshua Davis. Enjoy!

New Tool Merch.

Yaz from Toolarmy reports that there is a new selection of Caps, Beanies and T-Shirts on the Tool website. Highlights include a cool looking Grey Beanie, and this new Undertow T-Shirt. Make sure you don’t spend all your money before the second batch of Signed Vinyl arrives. Also, in a private email to a Toolnavy member, Blair has said that the October newsletter will hold some new information regarding the… Read More »New Tool Merch.

Blair Writes!

Blair finally got around to dispelling a few myths and rumours about the place last night on Toolband/Army. It would appear that: There definitely will be more Signed Vinyl, no clues on when though, or how many, but you’d have to think it would happen sometime in the next few weeks. There is a new Gold Edition Coleman available from the Coleman Website. Limited edition so get your hands on… Read More »Blair Writes!

Jelvins, Melvins, Tomahawk and TMOC

Some non-Tool news for a change. There’s a relatively interesting, if a little short interview with Jello Biafra here, where he talks about his involvement with the Melvins. It boes on to mention that Adam Jones plays on half of the tracks on the new CD Sieg Howdy! Ipecac.com are reporting that the Melvins are releasing a ‘new’ version of Houdini in the near future. Also, Peeping Tom for mid-2006.… Read More »Jelvins, Melvins, Tomahawk and TMOC
