More Vinyl To Come?

Rumours aboud that more Signed Vinyl will be available, and that the release last week was really just a small on for the benefit of those in the chats. There’s no official word on this yet, but in hte meantime I guess it’s a glimmer of hope for those that missed out.

Vinyl Gone (again), Conspiracies

I checked Toolarmy this morning, and it looks like the Signed Vinyl is gone, presumably sold out. Too bad if you missed out, I’ll sell you mine for $1,000,000 😉 Word is that no more than 100 were made available. Other rumours are abounding that last nights chat was a vast conspiracy engineered by the Admins at TA. Based on a script obtained from some sort of admin only chat… Read More »Vinyl Gone (again), Conspiracies

Post-Apocalypse

The chat happened, sort of. I learnt the following: 250 in chat room is a bad idea. Adam said Pre-production on the artwork for the New CD is happening now. A tour with Isis is a distinct possibility. Alex Grey will be involved on the new CD. Danny says it’s not a double ablum, and that the DVD will be out soon, with the implication it will be out before… Read More »Post-Apocalypse

Crowleymas

Just a final couple of things on the Toolarmy Crowleymas chat. It will start at 9pm PST (2pm AEST 13th Oct.) and the chat rooms should be back up sometime before then, though as I write this I seemed to be able to login, but not able to do anything. Guests Include: Adam, Maynard and & Danny. No Justin because he’s away. Alex Grey Aaron from Isis kaRIN and Statik… Read More »Crowleymas

TA Chat Time confirmed

Volto and The Chat

More Volto news on Toolband/Army. It looks like they’re playing on October 30th at the Baked Potato. In case you’ve forgotten Volto include Danny Carey, John Ziegler, Kirk Covington and Lance Morrison. It’s also been reported that Eddie Van Halen was as on of John Ziegler’s regular jam nights. No word on whether he actually played or not. Toolarmy members shouldn’t forget about the TA Chat on this Wednesday (Thursday… Read More »Volto and The Chat

Billy Howerdel on Game Music

Gamespy.com is running an interview with A Perfect Circle’s Billy Howerdel regarding his involvement with the Jak X: Combat Racing, an upcoming PS2 game. He also mentions that he’s working on a new album, though it’s not APC since he mentions it’s either a solo album or a new band. Hopefully for us Tool fans these means Maynard will be dedicating plenty of time to Tool in the coming months.

Josh Freese meets Jesus

Josh Freese from A Perfect Cirle must be a busy guy. Ultimate Guitar reports that he’s recently recorded with Head, the Jesus loving ex-Korn guitar player. For those who don’t know, Head left Korn after finding Jesus. Unlike Maynard, it would appear that Head was serious! Here’s a “Letter to Head”, I think your new CD is going to make us “Kry”. BTW the article is worth seeing, if only… Read More »Josh Freese meets Jesus

Freese in NIN

Blabbermouth report that A Perfect Circle’s Josh Freese will be filling in on drums which their usual drummer Jerome Dillon is off sick. Sounds like a good temporary solution to me, but all the best to Jerome and I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
